Making better spaces for people to connect with the earth and with themselves
We needed our own reprieve from busy lives, and it was in nature that we (re)discovered the magic of rest. We have since committed our lives to sharing the healing properties of nature.
We are driven by a shared passion for sustainability, innovation, community, and the creative spirit. Humans and nature are our central consideration in the design of our spaces and our primary objective is to calm the nervous systems of people and the planet.
Beauty in functionality
For us beauty is in the details of how a window meets a wall, or how one material is connected to another while maintaining integrity to both the design and materials in the most special way.
Our circular process of refinement, continually moving from computer design, to hands on implementation and back again, provides an environment of innovation. This ethos of daily continual improvement, led by our design language of ‘beauty in functionality’ is what has allowed us to create the truly unique products that we are proud to share with the world.
All in the details
Buildings are not typically approached with the same level of thoughtfulness and precision as a piece of furniture. Instead, tradespeople are often disconnected from the architect’s vision and incentivized to operate as quickly and cheaply as possible, often hiding sloppy and even negligent work behind the final ‘finish’ materials. It is important to us that our cabins are just as beautiful within the walls as outside of them, and by designing and building in-house, we ensure this level of attention with every unit that leaves our prefab facility.
